Bitcoin on the day = close on the FOMC statement day ÷ close the day before, minus 1. Next 7 / 30 days = close 7 / 30 calendar days after the decision-day close ÷ the decision-day close, minus 1 (UTC daily closes).1 Each 7-day figure is within 0.8 percentage points of the same calculation on Blockchain.com’s daily average price, and each 30-day figure within 0.2 points.10 The Sep 16, 2026 hike’s 30-day window ends Oct 16, 2026. Ranked by the size of the 7-day move, rises and falls together. Hike = change in the top of the federal funds target range, in basis points. Observed facts, not a forecast.
