Mining revenue = revenue the company reports from mining bitcoin for its own account in the quarter ended June 30, 2026; hosting, AI cloud, engineering and data-center revenue is excluded and shown in total revenue. CleanSpark (fiscal Q3), HIVE (fiscal Q1 of fiscal 2027) and IREN (fiscal Q4) have different fiscal years but report the same April–June period. Revenue per BTC mined = mining revenue ÷ BTC mined, computed here where the filing states both (American Bitcoin’s count is approximate). Mining share = mining revenue ÷ total revenue. Bitdeer’s mining revenue is the sum of its self-mining and co-mining lines and comes from an unaudited release; Cango’s from an unaudited 6-K. Country = where the company is based, as reported. Not ranked: Hut 8 (it consolidates American Bitcoin and does not split out its own mining revenue), Bit Digital, Soluna, Greenidge and Digi Power X (each under $3 million), BitFuFu and Canaan (no quarterly figure found), Gryphon and Stronghold (no longer separate companies), Applied Digital (quarter ends August 31) and Bitcoin Depot (not a miner). Q3 2026 results are due from late October.

The top 7 and Core Scientific

Bitcoin miners earn revenue from the new bitcoin they create and the transaction fees they collect. This ranks the largest listed miners by that revenue in the quarter ended June 30, 2026, the latest quarter all of them have reported. The 12 companies earned about $953 million between them. Several have moved into hosting AI computing, so their total revenue is shown beside mining revenue.
