Value reported = the dollar value in 13F reports for the CUSIP, summed over filers; amount = the principal of the notes (or shares of the preferred) reported. Options are excluded. Each note series is matched to its CUSIP by coupon and maturity month against the table in Strategy’s 10-Q (for example, the 0.625% note maturing in September is the 2028 series).12 Share of series outstanding = reported principal ÷ the principal outstanding at June 30 in that 10-Q; it can exceed 100% because a manager’s combination report may overlap another filer’s own report. Where a filer also made an amendment the original is used. The preferred CUSIP is labelled only “Series A perpetual preferred” in the filings; Strategy has more than one preferred series and the filings do not say which this is, so the page does not name it. Only managers with $100 million or more in 13(f) securities file.3 Observed facts, not a forecast.

A convertible note pays interest (some pay none) and can be exchanged for shares under set conditions; a perpetual preferred pays a stated dividend and has no maturity date. Both are ways of raising money that pull in fixed-income buyers.
